Restoring our Trees

Restoring Our Own Trees through Service (R.O.O.T.S.)
Our trees do more than just look beautiful. Trees clean our air, prevent erosion, absorb runoff, provide shade, save energy, and create healthier communities. Give 2-3 hours of service to provide some tree loving care (TLC) to help keep our public trees healthy and strong. Some tools shall be provided. H.E.B Park (Willow Creek) – February 14, 9:30am
Veterans Park– March 14, 9:30 AM -11:30am
Dunbar Park – April 11, 9:30 AM -11:30am
Eddie Durham Park– May 9, 9:30 AM -11:30am
Projects will vary by site and may include (mulching, pruning, root collar excavations, trunk guard installations, invasive removal, planting, & gps)
