Trail Crew
Volunteers are the heart of SMGA. Whether you enjoy working on the trails or engaging the community, there’s a place for you in our volunteer network.
Our Trail Crew is responsible for maintaining and improving the trails in our greenbelts and natural areas. Activities include:
- Building and maintaining hiking trails
- Removing invasive species and planting native plants
- Installing trail markers, benches, and other amenities
- Keeping SMGA tools and equipment in working order
- Assisting in training new trail crew members

Outreach Team
Our Outreach Team helps raise awareness and appreciation for our greenbelts through community engagement and education.
- Represent SMGA at community events
