Golden Cheeked Warbler Nesting Season
During Golden Cheeked Warbler nesting season, some trails are closed March 1 – May 31. Please observe these trail closures and practice common sense, good etiquette on the open trails. Remember the natural areas exist for flood mitigation, water quality, air quality, wildlife, recreation, exercise, nature classrooms, cooling factor, transportation and the night sky.
When trails are wet give them a chance to dry and don’t damage them by creating ruts, trail widening and erosion issues.
