Praire Spiderwort (Tradescantia occidentalis)
(left) Fairly common in all the natural areas as a Texas native mostly in woodlands. Edible plant but not the roots.
Englemann’s Daisy (Engelmannia peristenia)
(below) Native grasslands and non-grazed areas.
Both found at Ringtail Ridge natural area in early April.
