SMGA Now Has A YouTube Channel

SMGA’s on YouTube now! Granted, your only option right at the moment is to watch Todd Derkacz watering trees, but we’re anticipating much more. This will include videos created by members of the Outreach Committee, as well as by students in Dr. Colleen Myles’ Interpretive Environmental Geography class.

The uses of our YouTube channel will be many—to highlight the work of the Trail Crew, to introduce viewers to the beauty and diversity of our natural areas, to show activities taking place on the trails (birding, mountain biking, running, and more), to educate people on the use of trail markers, to name just a few.

If you have video from a natural area that you think would be of interest to viewers, you can send it to Susan Hanson or pass it along to any other member of the SMGA board or Outreach Committee.
